Retrieving a FlyBox
Retrieving your stored FlyBoxes is simple and can be done directly through the FlyBox app. You can select the FlyBoxes you want returned to you, choose your delivery address, review the applicable retrieval pricing and optional add-ons, and complete your order in the app.
Retrieving FlyBoxes from different storage locations?
If your FlyBoxes are stored at different FlyBox facilities, they must be retrieved in separate orders. This means you may need to place multiple retrieval requests if your FlyBoxes are located at different storage facilities.
This is because:
FlyBoxes are shipped from the facility where they are currently stored
Each storage facility processes its shipments separately
If the app does not allow you to select certain FlyBoxes together, they may be stored at different locations. Complete one retrieval order first, then create a separate retrieval order for the remaining FlyBoxes.
Step 1: Select the FlyBoxes you want to retrieve
Open the FlyBox app
Navigate to the Retrieve page
View the FlyBoxes currently stored at FlyBox facilities
Select the FlyBoxes you want to retrieve
You can retrieve one or multiple FlyBoxes in the same order as long as they are eligible to be retrieved together from the same storage location.
Step 2: Tap “Retrieve”
Confirm that you selected the correct FlyBoxes
Tap Retrieve to begin your retrieval order
Step 3: Confirm your delivery details
Choose or enter the physical address where you want your FlyBoxes delivered
FlyBoxes can be retrieved to any physical address within the contiguous United States
Review your address carefully before continuing
You are not required to retrieve your FlyBoxes to the same address where they were originally picked up or returned from.
Your retrieval price is based on the distance between your selected retrieval address and the location where each FlyBox was last returned.
Step 4: Choose your shipment timing
Select your available shipment timing option in the FlyBox app
Choose whether you want your FlyBoxes shipped as soon as available or scheduled for a future date
Tap Next to continue
Available shipment timing options will be displayed in the app during your retrieval request.
Step 5: Review pricing and optional add-ons
Before completing your retrieval order:
Review the FlyBoxes included in your request
Review the retrieval price shown for each FlyBox
Choose any available optional retrieval add-ons
Review your delivery details
Select your payment method
Review your total
Tap Confirm and Pay to complete your retrieval request
The FlyBox app will display your applicable retrieval fee and any selected add-on charges before you confirm and pay.
Retrieval pricing
Retrieval pricing is charged per FlyBox and is based on the distance between your retrieval address and the location where each FlyBox was last returned.
Note: If this is your first retrieval for a FlyBox, distance is calculated between the address where that FlyBox was originally delivered and your retrieval address. After a FlyBox has been returned, future retrieval distance is calculated from the location where that FlyBox was last returned.
Standard retrieval
$15 per FlyBox
Applies when the retrieval address is within 300 miles of the location where the FlyBox was last returned
Extended retrieval
$30 per FlyBox
Applies when the retrieval address is more than 300 miles from the location where the FlyBox was last returned
The FlyBox app will display the applicable retrieval price for each FlyBox before you complete your order.
Information for early adopters and legacy customers
Some early adopters and legacy customers may have different retrieval pricing or retrieval credits based on the plan they originally signed up for.
If this applies to your account:
Your eligible legacy retrieval pricing or retrieval credits will continue to be honored
No action is required
The FlyBox app will display the correct retrieval price before you confirm your order
Legacy pricing applies to the retrieval fee only. Optional retrieval add-ons are charged separately at their applicable current rates.
Optional priority shipping for retrieval orders
Priority shipping is available only as an optional add-on when placing a retrieval order. Priority shipping is not currently available for:
New FlyBox deliveries
Pickups
Shipments to storage
Standalone shipping requests
It can only be selected when a stored FlyBox is being retrieved and delivered back to you. Priority shipping is charged per FlyBox in addition to the applicable retrieval fee.
Standard priority shipping
$45 per FlyBox
Applies when the retrieval address is within 300 miles of the location where the FlyBox was last returned
Extended priority shipping
$85 per FlyBox
Applies when the retrieval address is more than 300 miles from the location where the FlyBox was last returned
For example, one FlyBox with a standard retrieval and standard priority shipping would include:
$15 per FlyBox standard retrieval fee
$45 per FlyBox standard priority shipping fee
$60 total for one FlyBox
The FlyBox app will display the applicable priority shipping price before you confirm your retrieval order.
Optional signature-required delivery
Signature-required delivery is also available as an optional add-on when placing a retrieval order.
$5 per FlyBox
Requires someone to sign for the FlyBox when it is delivered
The signature-required delivery fee is charged in addition to the applicable retrieval fee and any other selected retrieval add-ons.
Delivery confirmation and tracking
After confirming your retrieval order:
You’ll receive updates when your FlyBoxes are on their way
You can track shipment and delivery progress through the FlyBox app
Each FlyBox may have its own tracking information.
Sending FlyBoxes back to storage
When you’re ready to send your FlyBoxes back to storage, shipping to storage is FREE.
You can:
Schedule a FREE pickup through the FlyBox app, or
Drop off your FlyBoxes at a supported drop-off location within the contiguous United States
Your storage plan and applicable billing continue according to the terms of your plan while your FlyBoxes remain active.
Reusing your FlyBoxes or sending new items
FlyBoxes are designed for reuse, giving you flexibility to change what you have in storage.
If you want to store new items instead of the original contents:
Pack your new items securely inside the FlyBox
Make sure the topper is properly aligned
Secure the topper using the provided zip-tie locks
Update the FlyBox name, description, or inventory information in the app if needed
Schedule a pickup or use a supported drop-off option through the app
Shipping your packed FlyBoxes back to storage is FREE.

You can order additional FlyBoxes through the FlyBox app.
From the Home view, tap + Order More FlyBoxes to add additional storage.
Each new order is subject to the applicable storage plan and pricing shown at checkout.
