FAQs - FlyBox Retrievals: What They Are, Pricing, and Delivery

A retrieval is when you request one or more of your stored FlyBoxes to be delivered back to you.

It’s how you get your items returned from FlyBox storage to any physical address you choose within the contiguous United States.

Retrievals are requested directly through the FlyBox app.

Retrieving your FlyBox is simple:

Your FlyBoxes will be shipped from storage to your selected address.

You can retrieve your FlyBox to any physical address within the contiguous United States.

You are not limited to the address where your FlyBox was originally picked up or returned from.

When placing your retrieval request, simply select or enter the address where you would like your FlyBox delivered.

Retrieval pricing is charged per FlyBox and is based on the distance between your retrieval address and the location where each FlyBox was last returned.

The FlyBox app will show the applicable retrieval price for each FlyBox before you confirm your order.

Retrieval distance is calculated from the location where each FlyBox was last returned to the address where you are requesting it to be delivered.

Because retrieval pricing is based on each FlyBox’s last return location, the FlyBox app will always show the applicable price before checkout.

​Note: If this is your first retrieval for a FlyBox, distance is calculated between the address where that FlyBox was originally delivered and your retrieval address. After a FlyBox has been returned, future retrieval distance is calculated from the location where that FlyBox was last returned.

The applicable standard or extended retrieval fee is charged when you request a stored FlyBox back.

You can also choose optional add-ons when placing a retrieval order:

Priority shipping is available only as an optional add-on for retrieval orders.

It is not currently available for new FlyBox deliveries, pickups, shipments to storage, or as a standalone shipping service.

Priority shipping pricing is also based on distance and is charged per FlyBox in addition to the retrieval fee.

When you request a stored FlyBox back, the applicable standard or extended retrieval fee applies.

There are two main reasons retrieval pricing may differ.

Distance: Current retrieval pricing is based on the distance between the retrieval address and the location where each FlyBox was last returned.

Legacy pricing: Some early adopters and legacy customers may have different retrieval pricing or retrieval credits based on the plan they originally signed up for.

The FlyBox app will always display the applicable retrieval price for your account before you confirm your order.

Once a retrieval is requested in the FlyBox app, FlyBoxes typically arrive within 1–5 business days, depending on your location.

You can retrieve FlyBoxes to any physical address within the contiguous United States.

Tracking and delivery updates are provided in the FlyBox app.

For same-day shipment processing, retrieval requests must be submitted by 5 PM ET.

Same-day shipment processing does not mean same-day delivery.
