FlyBox is built for secure, flexible storage, not as a traditional moving service. However, it can be an ideal solution when you’re between addresses and need a safe place for your belongings during a relocation.
FlyBox does not replace a moving company.
FlyBox does not provide:
Same-day delivery
In-home packing or unpacking
Moving crews
Direct address-to-address transportation
Important: Before FlyBoxes can be delivered to a new address, they must first be returned to a FlyBox storage facility. FlyBox does not transport items directly between addresses.

Important things to know
3-month plan commitment: Each FlyBox is enrolled in a 3-month plan, billed monthly, with automatic renewals unless canceled before renewal.
Storage-first model: FlyBox is designed for storage, not direct moving. FlyBoxes must first be shipped to a FlyBox storage facility before they can be retrieved to a new address.
Flexible retrieval: Retrieve your stored FlyBoxes to any physical address within the contiguous United States.
Distance-based retrieval pricing: Retrieval pricing is charged per FlyBox and is based on the distance between your retrieval address and the location where each FlyBox was last returned.
How relocation with FlyBox works
1. Order FlyBoxes
Order FlyBoxes in the FlyBox app or on the FlyBox website.
FlyBox uses tiered pricing. The more FlyBoxes included in your order, the more you save.

Each FlyBox measures 24″ × 20″ × 12″ and holds up to 60 lbs.
2. Pack at your pace
Pack your belongings securely using the packing materials included with your plan.
Each FlyBox includes:
A durable cover or topper with a pre-attached return label
Locking materials
Packing supplies
3. Schedule a FREE pickup or drop-off
Once your FlyBoxes are packed, you can:
Schedule a FREE pickup directly in the FlyBox app, or
Drop off your FlyBoxes at a supported drop-off location within the contiguous United States.
Your FlyBoxes are then transported to a climate-controlled, continuously monitored storage facility.
4. Store as long as you need
Your storage plan renews automatically every three months and is billed monthly.
You can manage your FlyBoxes directly in the app and retrieve any stored FlyBox whenever you’re ready.
5. Deliver to your new address
When you’re ready to receive your belongings:
Request a retrieval in the FlyBox app.
Enter your new delivery address.
Choose standard delivery or add priority shipping to your retrieval order.
Review and confirm your retrieval pricing and delivery details.
Your FlyBoxes will be shipped from storage to your selected address within the contiguous United States.
Retrieval pricing during relocation
A retrieval occurs when a stored FlyBox is delivered back to you.
Standard retrieval
$15 per FlyBox
Applies when your retrieval address is within 300 miles of the location where your FlyBox was last returned.
Extended retrieval
$30 per FlyBox
Applies when your retrieval address is more than 300 miles from the location where your FlyBox was last returned.
Distance is calculated between your retrieval address and the location where each FlyBox was last returned.
The FlyBox app will display the applicable retrieval price before you confirm your order.
Note: If this is your first retrieval for a FlyBox, distance is calculated between the address where that FlyBox was originally delivered and your retrieval address. After a FlyBox has been returned, future retrieval distance is calculated from the location where that FlyBox was last returned.
Shipping your FlyBoxes to storage is always FREE.
Optional priority shipping for retrieval orders
FlyBox currently offers priority shipping only as an optional add-on when placing a retrieval order.
Priority shipping is not a standalone shipping service and cannot be added to an initial FlyBox delivery, a pickup, or a shipment returning FlyBoxes to storage. It is available only when stored FlyBoxes are being retrieved and delivered back to you.
The priority shipping fee is charged per FlyBox and is added to the applicable retrieval fee.
Standard priority shipping
$45 per FlyBox
Applies when your retrieval address is within 300 miles of the location where your FlyBox was last returned.
Extended priority shipping
$85 per FlyBox
Applies when your retrieval address is more than 300 miles from the location where your FlyBox was last returned.
For example, one FlyBox with a standard retrieval and standard priority shipping would include:
A $15 retrieval fee per FlyBox
A $45 priority shipping fee per FlyBox
The FlyBox app will display the retrieval fee, priority shipping fee, and total cost before you confirm your retrieval order.
Optional signature-required delivery is available for $5 per FlyBox.
Information for early adopters and legacy customers
Early adopters and legacy customers may have a different retrieval rate based on the plan they originally signed up for.
If this applies to your account:
Your eligible legacy retrieval pricing or retrieval credits will continue to be honored.
Priority shipping remains a separate optional add-on available only for retrieval orders.
Priority shipping is charged at the applicable standard or extended priority shipping rate.
No action is required.
The FlyBox app will display the correct retrieval and priority shipping prices before you confirm your order.
