FedEx Pickup From Your Apartment Building

If you're scheduling a FedEx pickup for your FlyBox from an apartment building, here's what to expect and how to prepare:

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Add Pickup Instructions

When you schedule your pickup in the FlyBox app, you can include specific instructions (like “Ring buzzer 302” or “Pick up from the mailroom”). FedEx drivers may follow these notes if the building allows access.

If Custom Instructions Aren’t Allowed In Your Building

If your building doesn’t allow custom pickup instructions, be sure to leave your FlyBox where FedEx typically picks up packages (like a package room, mailroom, or front desk area). Drivers follow standard protocols and may not be able to go beyond those areas.

FedEx May Not:

  • Enter secured residential hallways

  • Knock on apartment doors

  • Go beyond the lobby or front desk area (unless building staff allow it)

Final Tip

If you’re not sure where FedEx usually picks up in your building, check with your building manager or front desk staff.
