How does FlyBox ensure the safety of my stored items?

FlyBox is built with security at every step:

  • 24/7 video surveillance and monitored security systems

  • Restricted facility access to authorized personnel only

  • Tamper-proof packaging with zip ties and shrink wrap

  • Climate-controlled storage environments

Your belongings stay secure, private, and protected while in our care.


Does FlyBox open my FlyBoxes?

No.
Once your FlyBox is sealed and returned to FlyBox, it remains closed and unopened.
We respect your privacy, and only you control the packing and securing of your FlyBoxes.


How are FlyBoxes secured against theft or tampering?

Each FlyBox is sealed with tamper-evident zip ties and scanned into our system upon arrival.
Facilities feature:

  • 24/7 video monitoring

  • Controlled entry points

  • Secure handling protocols

If tampering is ever suspected, we investigate immediately.


How are FlyBoxes protected from environmental damage?

FlyBox Secure Storage Facilities maintain:

  • Consistent climate control (temperature and humidity regulation)

  • Clean, dust-free, pest-controlled environments

This protects your items from moisture, mold, and extreme temperatures.


Does FlyBox offer transit coverage?

Yes.
When shipping to and from FlyBox, your FlyBox is covered by FedEx for up to $100 in value during transit.

If you experience any issues with the integrity of your FlyBox while in transit, please contact FlyBox Support immediately for assistance.


Can I opt into Signature Required deliveries?

You can select Signature Required during your retrieval request for an additional $5 per delivery.

With Signature Required, FedEx will ensure the package is left with someone available at the delivery location and that the recipient signs for the FlyBox, adding an extra layer of protection.
