You can return a single FlyBox or multiple FlyBoxes at once. Follow the steps below depending on what you need:
Getting Ready to Ship
Once you've packed, secured, and activated your FlyBox, you're ready to schedule your return shipment.
After activation, you’ll be prompted to either Ship Now or Pack and Activate Another FlyBox.
We recommend activating all FlyBoxes you want to ship together so you can schedule them in the same shipping window.
Not ready to ship right away?
No problem. Your packed and activated FlyBoxes will be visible in multiple places:
Home View: A prompt will appear under your Box with Schedule FedEx Shipment.
Ship View: A red circle will show the number of FlyBoxes ready to ship.
You can schedule your FlyBoxes from either view at your convenience.
Scheduling a Pickup or Drop-off
You can return a single FlyBox or multiple FlyBoxes at once. Follow the steps below depending on what you need:
Shipping Back One FlyBox
Select Your FlyBox
Navigate to the Ship tab or tap Schedule FedEx Shipment from the Home view.
Select the FlyBox you want to ship and tap Schedule FedEx Shipping.
Review the Serial Number
Ensure the serial number displayed matches the FlyBox you want to ship.
Tap Schedule Shipping to proceed.
Choose Pick-Up or Drop-Off
If Scheduling a Free Pick-Up:
Add, confirm, or update the pick-up address.
Tap Next.
Select your preferred pick-up date and time window.
Tap Next.
If Scheduling a Drop-Off:
Search for a nearby FedEx drop-off location or scroll through the list.
Tap Next.
Confirm your drop-off location by tapping Confirm Drop-off.
Shipping All or Multiple FlyBoxes
Select All FlyBoxes
Tap Select All to choose all FlyBoxes ready for shipment.
Selected FlyBoxes will have a checkmark.
Deselect if Needed
If you don’t want to ship all boxes, deselect the ones you want to hold back.
Tap Continue
Choose Pick-Up or Drop-Off
If Scheduling a Free Pick-Up:
Add, confirm, or update the pick-up address.
Tap Next.
Review your pickup details.
Choose your preferred day and time window.
Tap Next.
If Scheduling a Drop-Off:
Search for a convenient FedEx location.
Tap Next.
Confirm your drop-off location by tapping Confirm Drop-off.
Friendly tip: If you want to schedule a pickup or drop-off for multiple FlyBoxes, you must schedule them all at the same time. You won’t be able to add another FlyBox to that same pickup window later.
Rescheduling or Canceling a Pickup
Plans changed? No problem — you can easily cancel or reschedule your FlyBox pickup right from the app.
To Cancel a Scheduled Pickup:
Open the FlyBox app and navigate to the Ship tab.
Tap on the FlyBox with the scheduled pickup.
Tap Cancel Pickup.
You’ll receive a confirmation once the cancellation is processed.
If you wish to reschedule your pick-up before the pick-up window is closed, simply cancel your pick-up and reschedule.
To Reschedule a Pickup:
Upon missing your pick-up window
Wait two hours from the end of your pick-up window.
Reopen the FlyBox app and go to the Ship tab.
Tap on the FlyBox you want to reschedule.
Follow the prompts to select a new pick-up date and time window.
You can also choose to switch from a pickup to a drop-off during rescheduling, if that's more convenient.
Please note:
If you need to reschedule your pickup and have multiple boxes in your order, you’ll first need to cancel the existing pickup for all boxes. Then, you can reschedule a new pickup time and make sure all boxes are included in the same time window.
Important Reminder
Shipping your FlyBoxes back to FlyBox Secure Storage Facilities is always free, whether you're returning one or multiple boxes.
You can schedule shipments at your convenience — no deadlines or penalties if you wait until you're ready.
The Ship View
The Ship tab in the FlyBox app holds all FlyBoxes that are packed, locked, and activated.
If you go directly into the Ship view, the first screen will automatically default to selecting all FlyBoxes ready for shipment.
You can deselect any FlyBoxes you aren’t ready to ship by simply unchecking them before proceeding.
You can return to the Ship tab at any time to schedule shipments when it's convenient for you.
